There have been many changes in the third-party Facebook app provider space recently.
Wildfire, a company that was acquired by Google in 2012, announced they will no longer be building new features or signing up new customers for their Social Marketing Suite. And North Social, once a stand-alone third-party app provider, was recently acquired by Vocus, an enterprise-focused company that exclusively offers a suite of marketing products and services.
To help folks who are preparing to migrate away from Wildfire and North Social/Vocus we did A LOT of research on specialized tools that can be used in place of specific products normally offered within enterprise-level marketing suites.
A little bit about our research process: To be as objective as possible, all of the information for the infographic was pulled directly from the websites of each of the sixteen services featured. When something was unclear, we personally reached out to companies for clarification.
We then combined all our findings into an infographic which features well-known niche tools across three major categories: Social Messaging/Scheduling, Analytics and Social Landing Pages (promotions/apps).
Our hope is that you’ll use this handy infographic to save you some time shopping around for your next service or help get your researching process started off on the right foot.
Of the sixteen niche products featured in this infographic, we, of course, prefer ShortStack for creating custom landing pages, forms, contests and other promotions. However, we know it’s impossible for ShortStack to be all things to all people.
