Use Facebook more effectively with this manual

by Socially Stacked

Facebook is the ideal medium to make your company visible, gain more name recognition and ultimately convert more. You may have the idea that you have mastered Facebook completely because you have been using social media privately for years. However, there are some other things to take into account on your company page. We give you 4 essential tips that you can use Facebook effectively for your company.

Create a business page

It is possible to use a normal user profile for your company, but this is certainly not recommended. You cannot use all the useful extras that are available for a company page. For example, when you create a company page, you can see how many visitors come to your page, how your messages perform, schedule messages and much more.

Also, of course, you don’t want to send friend requests from a company profile. Your visitors can like your business page with one simple click on the “Like” button and then follow your posts.

Add a call-to-action

The call-to-action button (CTA) on your Facebook page becomes your favorite button. For example, you can forward your visitors to your website or encourage them to download your latest e-book. You can also use the button when you want your visitors to sign up for the newsletter or watch a certain video.

The possibilities are endless because you decide how you use the button. Choose the text for your CTA button and place a link behind the button. By the way, you can use your cover photo to get more people to press this button. For example, take a photo of a person pointing at the button or place a text encouraging them to press the button.

It can be tempting to use this button to get people to buy something right away. Whether this is the best choice for your company depends on your strategy.

Use visual content

Text doesn’t grab attention anymore. Nowadays your target group is bombarded with information. In order to grab attention, you have to use photos and videos of the highest quality. This will also look a lot better on your own page. There are several (free) tools available to give your content the right size, such as Canva. Make sure the image you use is of good quality and then crop it to the desired proportions.

Monitor comments

Of course you don’t want a discussion with a negative tone under one of your posts. Users also expect you to respond to them when they address your company directly. This is an excellent opportunity to talk to your target audience.

Always keep a close eye on the comments. This is different from removing all negative comments. It’s good for your company if you look for a suitable solution together with the poster in case of a negative comment. You can then share this under the post. You can also respond to the comment with the message that you will contact by mail or phone to find a good solution.
